FAQS

What We Do

Do you run collective group ski lessons?

We do not run large collective group lessons as all our ski lessons are private. If you are looking to ski as a group we can offer private group ski lessons. This way you can ski with your friends and/or family but you know exactly who is in your group. We recommend that people are of a similar standard.

What ages do you teach skiing to?

We teach people of all ages, from 3 years old upwards.

What abilities do you teach skiing to?

We teach skiing to all abilities from complete beginners to advanced all mountain coaching. We also provide instructor training.

Your Ski Lesson

Where do I meet the ski instructor for my ski lesson?
We aim to be as flexible as possible for meeting points. We can either meet you at your accommodation or arrange a meeting point in one of the high altitude La Plagne villages. All meeting points will be arranged before your arrival in resort.
How can I get to the meeting point?
La Plagne has lots of villages spread over the resort, the high altitude villages in La Plagne are:

  • Plagne Centre
  • Plagne 1800
  • Plagne Village
  • Plagne Soleil
  • Bellecote
  • Belle Plagne

For the high altitude villages we can meet you at or close to your accommodation or alternatively at a pre-arranged meeting point.

The High altitude La Plagne villages are also linked by a good free bus service and several free access lifts for pedestrians to get around resort.

La Plagne also has some lower resorts/villages these are:

  • Montchavin
  • Les Coches
  • Montalbert
  • Champagny

We can offer lessons in these lower villages however we have less flexibility on meeting points. Please email us and we will be happy to help.

What times are the ski lessons?

During peak weeks we have set lesson times and packages –

How do I pay for my ski lesson?
Once you have decided on your ski lesson package we will send through booking and payment details. Your booking is not secure until a 50% deposit is received or if your booking is within 6 weeks full payment is needed. This can be made by bank transfer, card payment over the phone or on line.
What kind of ski pass do I need for my ski lesson?
It is not necessary to purchase the full Paradiski lift pass for lessons with Lime Snowsports.

However advanced skiers may wish to purchase the full Paradiski lift pass, as this will allow them to explore the whole of La Plagne and Les Arcs.

What should I bring with me to the ski lesson?
For your ski lessons you will require all your ski equipment, a valid lift pass, ski clothing appropriate to the weather. We would also recommend sun cream, eye wear, a small snack for children and some money for a drink. In addition all skiers need to have valid holiday/accident ski insurance. Please ensure that all children have helmets.
Do I need to wear a helmet for the ski lesson?
Although it is not compulsory to wear a helmet we do recommend the use of helmets for snow sports. Helmets can be rented or purchased at most good ski shops.

Other Stuff

Can you recommend anywhere to hire ski equipment from?

Depending on which La Plagne village you are staying in we can help you find the ski rental shops closest to your accommodation. Please ask.
